Cargo Staging & Logistics Operations Back

Oryx Distribution builds on more than a decade of complex logistics, cargo staging and transport-management experience across Afghanistan, the UAE, JAFZA and selected African markets. Through our wider group operations, including Camp Oryx in Afghanistan, we have managed large-scale cargo staging, inventory control, transportation, shipment tracking and export coordination since 2013, including extensive operational experience handling cargo transported through Maersk Line and other international logistics providers.

Major Cargo Operations in Afghanistan

During the United States military surge and subsequent drawdown in Afghanistan, Camp Oryx supported the staging and movement of substantial volumes of military, commercial and operational cargo. Our teams managed cargo through the full logistics cycle, from receipt and inventory registration through staging, transport, export preparation and final handover for international shipment.
This included coordinating the movement of United States military equipment, vehicles, containers, machinery, supplies and associated operational assets from locations across Afghanistan to regional ports and international shipping connections.

Our role extended beyond storage. We provided operational control over the cargo from the moment it entered the staging facility until it was delivered to the designated seaport, airport or onward logistics provider. Our teams operated in a challenging environment where security, timing, accuracy and cargo visibility were critical.
